1.  Architectural Apprentice

If you’re looking for a challenging architectural apprenticeship program where you’ll get to create as
well as participate in the design process, we want to hear from you.


Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for contributing to the design, development and commissioning of new projects
for EDSA Architects. You will use your expertise and design skills to create functional and aesthetically
pleasing design outputs while working as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.

In this role, you will use computer-aided design tools to perform layout design and detailing, working
closely with the principal and associate Architects, technical staff, and allied partners in the industry. You
will produce conceptual, working drawings, as well as as-built and assembly drawings.

2.  Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for contributing to the cost outlay and development and commissioning of new projects for EDSA Architects. You will use your expertise to create and present practical and feasible costing-related job outputs while working as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.

In this role, you manage construction project finances, calculate a budget based on the client’s requirements, and prepare detailed estimates to ensure the budget is sufficient for each stage of construction as the project develops.  You will use basic mathematical computer-based tools to perform quantity take-off and costing, working closely with the principal and associate Architects, technical staff, and allied partners in the industry. You will produce and evaluate in-house and contract-stipulated bid costing and other related parameters based on sound practices
